Plantation Restorative Dentistry
No matter how hard we try to prevent them, almost all of us have had tooth decay and the need to fill a tooth cavity at some time in our life. And in truth, not all cavities are preventable, even with the very best in-home care and regular checkups. Immediate, fast, and efficient treatment of decay will lead to the best result: a small unobtrusive restoration.
Dental Restoration Benefits
At Comfort Dentists, our dentists and our entire professional team will carefully and fully evaluate your need for restorations.
- Safety & Precision - We use only top-of-the-line environmentally friendly and healthy materials, and our state-of-the-art hi-tech equipment allows us to complete restorations efficiently, conservatively, and painlessly.
- Prevention - If your tooth has an existing restoration, we'll make certain that the seal between the tooth enamel and the restoration hasn't broken down. If the seal becomes unstable, food particles and decay-causing bacteria can work their way under the existing restoration and cause further decay, often without detection until the decay is extensive.
- Tooth-Saving Options - If there is a very large existing restoration, extensive damage, or recurrent decay, we may need to replace or forgo a filling and choose to restore a tooth with a natural-looking porcelain crown that covers and supports your tooth when there is very little original tooth intact. A dental crown can save a tooth for a lifetime!
As with all our procedures, we make certain our patients are comfortable and relaxed. As certified sleep dentists, we can also determine if relaxation therapy is indicated, all of which is conveniently available in our offices and administered by dentists certified in anesthesiology.
